Loved the clean, spacious room, though the early cockerel was a bit much!

Spacious rooms with large ensuite walk-in showers.
Despite the beautiful setting, there were several disappointments. The cockerel woke us up far too early every morning, disrupting our much-needed rest. the bedside lamps needed stronger LED bulbs since reading in bed was almost impossible. I left feeling quite frustrated because I had anticipated the relaxing escape that was promised.

The Emlyn Arms B&B offered a wonderful stay in Llanarthney, with a beautiful, spacious double room featuring a large ensuite walk-in shower that felt luxurious. The thoughtful touches, like a fridge stocked with fresh milk and homemade treats in a sweetie tin, made my experience extra special. Breakfast blew me away. the locally sourced ingredients truly added to the flavor, with the poached eggs being a standout! Mel, the landlady, was incredibly attentive, providing a warm welcome and even helping with my attempts at Welsh. The location near attractions like the National Botanic Gardens made it a great base. Only downside. Could also use slightly stronger bedside lighting for reading.

Our stay with the kids was filled with fun! They loved playing billiards at the cozy spot. We also enjoyed a fantastic steak night — the staff even swapped the onion rings for mushrooms for my dietary needs. Delicious dessert!
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities.

It was just a proper fit for a getaway in Llanarthney with high value for money. The chips we had were cooked to perfection and truly memorable. Try to get a room away from the cockerel for a better night's sleep.
